Hey everyone! So I figured if there’s any survivors of the incoming snowpocalypse there’s no better thing to do than make a mess of the fresh ice down at wintergreen. Who wants to join? I’ve got two spaces in my sub compact, but any drivers with literally any form of a sport oriented car is encouraged to join.

The plan is to head over to wintergreen Sunday morning and get on the slopes around noon. If you have a season pass that’s the time it kicks in for the rest of the day. Otherwise you’ll need to get lift tickets which are a reasonable ~$70. We’ll stay till we get tired or slip on the ice too many times.

What you’ll need:
skis/board
boots
athletic layers for your entire body (waterproof/resistant pants are a plus)
Some form of eye/sun protection (don’t be snow blind please)
backpack if you want
a lunch (food is also extremely reasonably priced at wintergreen (aka expensive))

You can rent any gear from wintergreen or bring your own.

If you anyone new wants to learn snowboarding or skiing wintergreen has some good rental/lesson/pass deals. New snow helps with the falling process too.
