Some of the best stoves in life are free. Come to the workshop and I’ll teach you how to make your very own ultralight backpacking stove from two aluminum cans!
Usually weighing less than 1 oz, alcohol stoves are the top choice among ultralight backpackers and long-distance hikers. At the workshop I will teach you how to make a stove that weighs only 3 grams (0.1 oz) yet is strong, reliable and functional for solo backpacking. I’ll also present variations in design techniques and cover cooking methods for maximum fuel efficiency in the backcountry.
