It’s going to snow. we may not know how much or for how long, but the weather people are becoming more and more certain that we will get several inches of snow on tuesday (and maybe even wednesday, too). I don’t know about you but I love a walk in the woods while snow falls so that’s what we’ll try and do tuesday afternoon. Come and join me on the o’hill trails as we listen to the quiet and mark a path through the snow. Depending on how much has fallen we might even try to make a snowman. I’ve set this to start at 3:30 but if there’s a last minute change in the forecast for sleet and freezing rain (the ugly cousins of snow) I will change it to when temperatures will be colder.
Here’s the plan:
3:30 meet at slaughter and walk over to the trails
5:00 come back to slaughter and maybe go grab dinner
You Bring:
– Hiking shoes/boots with good traction
– Water/snack if you want
– Warm weather gear because it will be cold! Bring gloves, a hat, maybe even a scarf, along with some sort of water resistant coat
