Yay! You Made it Through the Week! (Blackrock Sunrise)

OVERVIEW

Hi friends,

I’ve just been sorting through all the things I’m going to have to endure this next week… you know that thing when your all your professors schedule exams or presentations or project due dates all in the same week?

Yeah.

It looks like by the time Friday rolls around it all will be over(for me, or for my exams? lol), so I’m just gonna stick this trip here to serve as a sort of light at the end of this hellish tunnel I’m about to go through.

Blackrock is ~1 mi hike and is described as a “pleasant, easy walk”, which sounds amazing – minimal effort is 100% the move.

Plan:
-meet 5:10a @Echols
-drive ~1hr to trail
-hike a wee bit
-6:56a the sun will rise, unlike my gpa haha rip
-get back to UVA around 8:30a or so

You bring:
-good shoes
-layers
-H2O
-headlamp
-breakfast if you want
-a good story to help me forget my woes pls
