You like rocks? Yeah me too. Come on a Sunday hike to Dripping Rock South!

OVERVIEW

Dripping Rock South is a super chill hike along the Blue Ridge Parkway, perfect for a lil Sunday reset before one last week (and a half) of school before Thanksgiving (yay thanksgiving). The hike’s about 2.5 miles round trip w/ a 240 feet elevation gain so it should be a piece of cake but we’ll still take it at a slow/moderate pace. According to the weather forecast it’s gonna be a little cold (48-50 F) so layers would probably be a good idea.

No drivers needed so this is a great trip for ppl who have trouble getting off waitlists! :))))))

PLAN:
9:00: Meet up at the corner of Echols and get drivin’
10:00: Arrive at trailhead
** Stop at not one but TWO overlooks and look at all the pretty rocks**
11:30: Back at the trailhead (approximate- depends on how fast we walk)
12:30: Return to Cville

BRING:
– Water
– Walking shoes
– Snacks if u so desire
– Layersssss
