It’s a wonderful National Forest in North Carolina with phenomenal outdoor recreation, gorgeous spring weather at this time of year and the location of 2 successful ODC trips in last year… so we come at you with your newest freshest off the press and most sought after WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA PISGAH MEGA TRIP!!!

WHEN? HOW?
PISGAH is set for Thursday April 4th – Sunday April 7th. The club has reserved a mega-awesome campsite for us all to begin and end our daily adventures from… (https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campsites/25440)
LEADING TRIPS!
This mega-trip, as with the quality of the club as a whole, depends primarily on 1 factor: TRIP LEADERS!!!! To make this mega-trip work, we need people to step up and organize a trip (or two) to a destination around the Pisgah, DuPont, Asheville area… for that weekend. (trip idea link pisgah trip ideas )The goal is to have several trip options going out on Friday, Saturday and likely some Sunday morning trips before our return to Cville with one campsite for all of us to converge and party after the adventures. There is a fee required ($25), that will be paid after being added to a subtrip and BEFORE getting off the waitlist for the MAIN CARPOOL.
Attendees will sign up by filling out the google form and then Max, Max, Shay and I will figure out a sched for Friday, Sat, Sunday trips gear and car dependent. We will then let those wanting to lead trips know which day works best for the trip, and leaders will then be responsible for posting trips on the website. *waitlists for these trips will be monitored by PISGAH LEADERS to ensure everyone has dope fun plans for everyday of the weekend and we don’t exceed the campsite capacity* Once added as either a trip leader or a participant to one of the sub-trips, attendees will need to join the MAIN CARPOOL to organize rides to & from Pisgah and ensure a spot on the BEST mega TRip OF the YEar!!! (not counting Moab)
so TLDR: what to do know if you want to come to PISGAH
- check your class and work schedule and make sure you are free to leave charlottesville from 4/4-4/7
- think of your trip idea (or no stress if you just want to be a participant) & fill out the google form https://forms.gle/PQvfeKTkyh8c7swi9
- watch the ODC website and check your email for the posting of the pisgah sub-trips, sign up for those of your liking or post your trip if contacted by PISGAH leaders (max max shay & marion)
- once you have been taken off the waitlist for a sub-trip then AND ONLY THEN DO YOU SIGN UP FOR THE MAIN CARPOOL
- when we receive your trip fee and confirm you are on a pisgah subtrip you will be added to the MAIN CARPOOL (trip) and a pisgah groupme which will be used to coordinate rides.
