I am writing to let you know that WE ARE ACCEPTING OFFICER APPLICATIONS (and remind you that we are constantly on a rolling basis) and we will be reviewing applications for new officers in mid-November. | What do officers do? Glad you asked. Officers meet every other Sunday for an hour (or two) to make sure club operations are running smoothly. Officers handle gear, approve trips, manage the website, run bonfires & parties, manage $$, lead mega trips, and other such things. It is a very fun and rewarding team to be a part of and WE WANT YOU!!
The one requirement: you must have led 3 trips |
| Some qualities that would make you a good candidate: |
- LOVING THE CLUB
- being organized and responsible
- Good with people (doesn’t bite)
- knowledge in some particular outdoor sport (not required but would be epic)
- willingness to put in time to ensure the club will run smoothly!
- internal drive to make the club more diverse, equitable, and inclusive
