Howdy!
Happy first day of classes! The officers have been hard at work to come up with a plan that will allow us to do as much as possible together when we get back. This is going to be a weird semester for sure, so we ask that you bear with us while we figure things out.
We have a few new policies to keep everyone safe this semester, including a comprehensive COVID-19 policy and a new sexual misconduct policy. Both of these documents contain a lot of important information about club activities, dues, and member expectations so please read them in their entirety! These are linked at the bottom of this announcement.
We will also be using our instagram a lot this year to keep everyone updated so, if you don’t already follow us, give us a follow at @uvaoutdoors.
Gear rooms will be starting the week that classes at UVA resume in person, during the week of September 7th.
Finally, we understand that these policies are a lot of information to take in at once, so we’ll host a Zoom town hall on Thursday, August 28th at 6pm. The Zoom details can be found as a trip on the website (https://outdoorsatuva.org/adventure/zoom-town-hall).
