Oh distinguished noble tripleaders,
ITS ALMOST LDOC!!! After a looooong, snowy winter and a short, phony summer, spring has flapped its little wings and officially sprung. Since last time, we’ve had double the trips we had days!!! That is beautiful, you are doing splendid work, beloved trip leaders. You’ve launched spring into flight through your dedication. As classes come to an end, and finals season begins, remember the fantabulous spring we’ve had. We’ve had some pretty epic trips, from SPRGE to Crawkathon; it’s been a truly adventurous spring. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR FINALS!!

On a blissful April Friday, around 25 ODC shredders and a handful of beloved climbers set off to Ray’s to partake in all sorts of shenanigans. From paddleboarding, climbing, pond swimming, mountain biking, hiking, and Fayetteville shenanigans, they really did it all. Here are some tomfoolic adventure-field photos:
Crawkathon
On a Friday afternoon, ODC members set out to conquer Walnut Creek on a historic national crawfish/haiku/cheeseball day. Filled with insurmountable joy and whimsy, they set out to paddleboard, swim, slackline, barefoot hike, doodle, conduct angry yoga, and play froggy murderer. After downing a plethora of hot dogs (without mixing ketchup and mustard), our brave adventurers decided to go back into the swimming. Here, they witnessed the first-ever boxing match between Max Ellis and an angry goose. Join us next spreekathon if you want to bear witness to their rematch.
Social events
We have one more bonfire!! The fourth-year send-off bonfire is this wednesday!!! If you are a fourth year, pull up one last amazing time to the shrack for a fantastical bonfire. If you aren’t a fourth year, come and say goodbye! It will be extravagant, it will be lit, it will be legendary. Go out with a bold rock, we will miss you!!

Well, that’s all for now. This is the final TL update of the semester 🙁 You’ve all done such amazing work for the club. For those of you graduating, we will truly miss you, thank you for the time you’ve spent as an ODC trip leader!! We have an amazing alumni network and would love your continued involvement + please come back for YAR!!! For those of you coming back next year, fire. Cannot wait to see you all again next year!
