I hope you are all shredding away and planning your winter break shredding. The semester may be nearing a close but the shredding never dies. Yuh. Anyways I fear I will get straight to business today because time is a commodity in these dire hours. I do want to quickly say that the football game watching was super epic and never in my life have I ever cared about football. The magic of ODC, am I right?

Our Friends at VASST (Virginia Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team)

SKI/BOARD TRIP

VASST x ODC CROSSOVER: Calling all shredders of the icy east! VASST (UVA’s ski and snowboard team) has a ski trip to Sunday River, Maine, and WE WANT YOU! Literally the best and most fun week of the year every year. We rent out three big houses with all of your soon-to-be best friends, and have a few spots remaining that will be first-come, first-served.

LOGISTICS: From Jan 4 through Jan 10. It’s $615 for those without an ikon and $310 for those with an ikon. If you sign up, you will be added to an email list and a flare and ill send out all the info about it to you.  If you are interested, sign up, or have any questions, text me (Andrew Luksik, Men’s Snowboard Captain) at (757) 288-9118 and I will make sure everything is worked out for you.

If none of these times work for you, please email the officers outdoors-officers@virginia.edu at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a separate time to be let into the gear room. Please only do this if you really can’t make the gear room times, not just because you don’t feel like it or didn’t plan ahead. 

You can stop by the gear room to check out or return gear and be reimbursed at any of the times listed above! Officers remain at the gear room only for as long as people are checking in/out gear (usually about 20-25 minutes). You may also purchase ODC t-shirts, hoo rags, patches, stickers, and more at the gear room!
