Got old gear to get rid of? Want a new backpacking pack, bike helmet, or set of ski poles but don’t want to pay full price (or at all)?
ODC is hosting a used gear exchange with VASST, Climbing, Cycling, and UVA Sacks TOMORROW, Wednesday April 9 at 6pm! Join us at the Shrack (116 Washington Ave.) to sell or trade your gently-loved gear and shop for the gear you want from others!
*You do not have to have gear to sell or trade to attend and find things you want!*
How it works:
- If you have gear (hammocks, ski clothes, headlamps, camp stoves, etc.) you want to sell or trade, bring it with you to the Shrack at 6pm! If you *don’t* have gear, bring yourself and maybe some cash or baked goods to barter!
- Wander around chatting with new and old friends from UVA’s outdoorsy clubs and finding things you want to take home with you. Someone have hiking boots you like and you have a rain jacket they want? Swap ’em! Someone have skis they’re no longer using and you want them? Buy them for cheap!
Any outdoors-related gear is allowed, including clothing, and there’s no limit to how many items you can bring (as long as they belong to you)!
