ODC Gear Room and Other Bits and Pieces 12-01-25

I’ve been playing this game with myself where I wake up extremely cold and shivering. I lay there for a sec and contemplate going back to sleep, but then I adopt my Siberian alter ego, Ivan.

Ivan gets out of bed, this cold is but a tickle to him. He wonders: where are my potatoes? what to have for breakfast? Ivan walks to the bathroom and mutters to himself the same swears that his forebears cried as they rode through the Steppes; this cold is starting to become a very strong tickle. (Ivan is ticklish.) Ivan looks across the ways into his mirror as he brushes his teeth, making steady eye contact with a barely recognizable man. Like clockwork, Ivan is derealized until 9am. Ivan eats his Trader Joes (Siberian Edition) yoghurt and then bundles up for his long trek to school. Ivan.

I hope you all have an inner Ivan. Not sure I could brave the weather without my Siberian alter ego.

Pietro “Ivan” Ciliberto
