It is hard to miss all of the litter in the bushes around the corner and 14th street. I was thinking we could walk around and clean some of it up for half an hour or so. If enough people sign up for the trip we could meet on the corner near Bodos bagles and go from there.

Potluck at Baron’s place

Email me for directions and stuff… I’m only posting this here so people will know about it. Basically I’m having a potluck at my place, duh. Just email or call to say you’ll be there so I know.

Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise, or control the organization, and is not responsible for the organization's contracts, acts, or omissions.

Land Acknowledgement
At UVA in Charlottesville, we acknowledge that the land where we live, learn, and work is the ancestral homelands and traditional territory of the Monacan Indian Nation, who have been here since time immemorial. We pay respect to their elders and knowledge keepers – past, present, and emerging. We also acknowledge and pay respect to the enslaved and free black laborers who built UVA, and their descendants. It is from the profits of their stolen labor, knowledge, and lives - and the dispossession of Indigenous land - upon which the University and this area have been developed.
